Knowledge and Skills

The name speaks for itself, it reacts with the user. Or the user reacts with it? Yet, it is still very robust solution for web apps. I have built dozens of project with it on my own. Making things work is just pure bliss.

React

Redux is the corporate standard. In Generali, where I work, we rely on it heavily, because vast majority of apps that we develop or maintain there are data-driven. For smaller projects I like to use something less "boilerplaty".

Without HTML there will not be any JavaScript or CSS, so lets not forget about it! HTML5 is the standard these day, so knowing the most important and used tags is a must for me.

I have coded numerous templates with custom designs. Which included styling custom form elements, buttons and flexible complex layouts. So, using flexbox and grid is my daily food.

CSS3

SASS eases my workflow when styling the whole website. The magic that does the ease is called mixins, functions, variables, placeholders and other fancy secret stuff.

Yes, there are many other static website assets generators like Gatsby or others. Most of the time I choose gulp, that's why I have also built this gulp boilerplate with ES6, FTP deployment and useful scripts ready to go.

Webpack is just great bundler with it's complexity and range of custom setting. Most React develipers just use create-react-app, I have chosen to dig deeper into webpack and I tried to setup env on my own.

When it comes to more complex animations than just moving element back and forth with some rotation applied, I count on GSAP. Intuitive, fast, lightweigt and highly extendable with it's plugins like SVG morphing.

I am moreof a beginner in terms of Vue development, but the learning curve is very steep and I can understand the basics behing Vue 3's Composition API. Take a look at simple example that I have made.

TopMonks is not only startup studio where I am responsible for creating and maintaining new features of PostCube App which is an app for PostCube delivery service.

Skivy

Skivy is platform based on providing vouchers and coupons in hospitality and some other bussinessis.

I focused on coding the template according to design. The challenge here was to implement nice animations for sidebar, coupon components and photo slider.

Getfix

Getfix is with its concept reminding of well-known service named Dáme jídlo, but its for cars. As a service, you are registered into the system and users can search for you according to their location and needs.

Backend was built on ASP.net and my task was to code all the designed pages by David Supik. Next step was to make it functional and user friendly. For some very functional dependent parts of the app, e.g. the Search Map I used React. The Search map is I think the most important part of the service, so we developed components like searching by tags, complex filter and the map itself.

The map needed to be fast, user intuitive and responsive, which was a huge challenge by itself.

I also coded administration part of the platform, for reference see screens. In total there are around 70 screens that I coded and made work.

Nebanka

Nebanka is basically nickname for investment crowdfunding platform. You can take loans or invest into public projects. In this project we focused on developing loan and investment calculators, elegant animations.

Proyecto

Proyecto is basic, although the layout is complex, presentation site designed by David Šupík. My task was to code the template and make it work. I also developed animated svg elements using GSAP. The challenge was to make responsive intro video with animated elements.

About me

Even though I was so unlucky to be born without a thumb, I still managed to start to develop my skills at my early thirteens alongside with other hobbies like photography and graphic design.

My very first language I was able to program with was PHP, I was fascinated by the fact, that I can secure my own page. But! I realised that I need to be able to control HTML. It led to CSS and JavaScript, which is my main at the moment.

Why? I like being closer to the user, to communicate and interact with him/her.
